This is amazing!! We had such a great time! Dune bashing, sandboarding, quad biking, and camel riding were all so much fun. Our safari guide, Emdad, was incredibly kind, friendly, and helpful throughout the tour, and he made the whole experience even more enjoyable. Thank you, Emdad, for making our desert safari such a wonderful experience. Highly recommended!

We had an amazing experience on our desert safari today. It was truly worth the money! All the shows, rides, activities, and especially the food were excellent. Everything was well organized and we enjoyed every moment of the 6-hour safari. The best part was that our 23-month-old baby, Ahaan, also enjoyed the entire experience. We were a little concerned about travelling with a baby, but everything went very smoothly and he had a great time. A special thanks to our guide, Emdad Bhai, who was extremely supportive and helpful throughout the trip. He guided us during every activity and made sure we were comfortable and enjoying ourselves. Overall, it was a fantastic and memorable experience for our family. Definitely paisa vasool! Highly recommended for families, especially those travelling with kids.

Dune bashing is safe with a licensed operator, trained safari drivers and properly equipped vehicles. It isn't suitable during pregnancy, with back, neck or heart conditions, or for children under 3 on shared trips.
What makes it safe
- Licensed safari drivers who drive the same dunes daily
- Land Cruisers with roll cages, seat belts, GPS tracking and first aid
- Tyre pressure lowered before the dunes
- Speed adjusted to guests. Just ask the driver
Avoid motion sickness
- Skip food for 2-3 hours before
- Front seat, eyes on the horizon
- Ginger or travel-sickness tablets 30 minutes before
- Ask the driver to go gentle
Red flags when booking
- No licence number or physical office
- Extremely cheap prices with bus pickup
- No insurance or seat belts
- Pressure to pay extra at the camp
What a safe dune drive looks like
A professional safari driver reads the dune before cresting it, keeps the vehicle straight on descents and never drives across the face of a steep slope. Before the dunes they lower the tyre pressure, which gives better grip and a smoother ride. Everyone wears a seat belt the whole time, and the driver adjusts the speed if anyone feels unwell.

Can pregnant women do a desert safari?

What if I feel sick during the drive?
Tell the driver. They'll stop or slow down. It passes quickly once you're on flat sand.
