This is amazing!! We had such a great time! Dune bashing, sandboarding, quad biking, and camel riding were all so much fun. Our safari guide, Emdad, was incredibly kind, friendly, and helpful throughout the tour, and he made the whole experience even more enjoyable. Thank you, Emdad, for making our desert safari such a wonderful experience. Highly recommended!

We had an amazing experience on our desert safari today. It was truly worth the money! All the shows, rides, activities, and especially the food were excellent. Everything was well organized and we enjoyed every moment of the 6-hour safari. The best part was that our 23-month-old baby, Ahaan, also enjoyed the entire experience. We were a little concerned about travelling with a baby, but everything went very smoothly and he had a great time. A special thanks to our guide, Emdad Bhai, who was extremely supportive and helpful throughout the trip. He guided us during every activity and made sure we were comfortable and enjoying ourselves. Overall, it was a fantastic and memorable experience for our family. Definitely paisa vasool! Highly recommended for families, especially those travelling with kids.

Yes, you can do a desert safari in summer, and prices are calmer and camps quieter. Afternoons reach 40-45°C, so the morning safari or an evening trip that starts closer to sunset is more comfortable. Evenings at camp are warm but pleasant after dark.
Tips for summer
- Choose the morning safari (back before noon) or the evening trip
- Drink plenty of water, which is unlimited on all our trips
- Wear a hat, sunglasses and SPF 50
- Air-conditioned Land Cruisers and shaded camp areas

- June-July: ~7:10 PM
- August: ~6:55 PM
- September: ~6:25 PM
- December: ~5:30 PM
Temperatures through the day in summer
- 7:00 AM: 31-34°C
- 12:00 PM: 40-45°C
- 4:00 PM: 40-43°C
- 8:00 PM: 33-36°C
Summer upsides
- Quieter camps and easier last-minute availability
- Longer daylight, with sunset around 7 PM
- Warm evenings at camp, no jacket needed
What to bring in summer
- Light, breathable long sleeves (cooler than bare skin in the sun)
- A reusable bottle, which we refill
- Cooling towel or scarf

Midday is very hot. Choose the morning trip or an evening that starts later.
Is the morning safari cooler in summer?
Yes, the dunes are about 10°C cooler at 7:30 AM than in the afternoon.
