Why go in the morning
- Cooler temperatures, especially from May to September
- Fewer vehicles on the dunes and footprint-free sand for photos
- Short enough for young children, with back-to-hotel nap time
- Your evening stays free for a dhow cruise, Burj Khalifa or dinner
Sunrise safari
From November to March we can pick you up around 5:30 AM so you're on the dunes at sunrise. Book it as a private morning safari and ask for the sunrise timing.
Häufige Fragen
What time does the morning desert safari start?
Pickup is 7:30-8:00 AM, and around 5:30 AM for sunrise in winter. Drop-off is around 11:30 AM-12:30 PM.
How much is the morning desert safari?
AED 149 per person shared, AED 199 with a quad bike, AED 799 per private car (1-6 guests) and AED 1,199 for a private car with quad bikes.
Does the morning safari include breakfast?
No. It includes water and soft drinks. Breakfast is included on the overnight safari.
Is there a camel ride in the morning?
Yes. A camel ride and sandboarding are included on every morning safari.
Is the morning safari good in summer or with young kids?
Yes. It's the coolest time of day and the dunes are quiet. Children under 3 can't join shared dune bashing, so families with toddlers usually book a private car and ask for a gentle drive.
Morning or evening safari?
Morning for cooler weather, empty dunes and your evening free. Evening for the sunset, BBQ dinner and shows.
