Desert Camp Dubai
Our desert camps sit in the Lahbab red dunes, about 45 minutes from Downtown Dubai. The standard evening camp (AED 99 per person, with dune bashing and pickup) has Arabic coffee and dates, a camel ride, henna, a BBQ buffet and belly dance, Tanoura and fire shows. The VIP camp (AED 249) adds sofa seating, table service and a 5-star live-station buffet, and you can stay the night in an air-conditioned tent from AED 599 per person.

What happens at the camp
- Around 5:30 PM: arrive after dune bashing and sunset: Arabic coffee (gahwa), dates and luqaimat, camel ride, henna, Arabic costume photos
- Around 7:00 PM: BBQ buffet dinner, vegetarian and non-vegetarian
- 7:30-8:30 PM: belly dance, Tanoura and fire shows
- 9:00-9:30 PM: drop-off back at your hotel

Can I visit the camp without dune bashing?
Yes. You can join the camp for the camel ride, henna, dinner and shows only, or book a private car and ask for a flat route to the camp. See desert safari without dune bashing. Driving yourself? The self-drive safari (AED 79) meets at the desert meeting point at 3:00 PM.
Getting to the camp
Pickup is free across Dubai in a 4x4 Land Cruiser, 2:00-2:30 PM for the evening camp. From Sharjah, Ajman and the other emirates pickup is usually free, and always free with a private SUV. See all pickup areas.

This is amazing!! We had such a great time! Dune bashing, sandboarding, quad biking, and camel riding were all so much fun. Our safari guide, Emdad, was incredibly kind, friendly, and helpful throughout the tour, and he made the whole experience even more enjoyable. We had an amazing experience on our desert safari today. It was truly worth the money! All the shows, rides, activities, and especially the food were excellent. Everything was well organized and we enjoyed every moment of the 6-hour safari. The best part was that our 23-month-old baby, Ahaan, also enjoyed the entire experience. We were a little concerned about travelling with a baby, but everything went very smoothly and he had a great time. A special thanks to our guide, Emdad Bhai, who was extremely supportive and helpful throughout the trip. He guided us during every activity and made sure we were comfortable and enjoying ourselves. Overall, it was a fantastic and memorable experience for our family. Definitely paisa vasool! Highly recommended for families, especially those travelling with kids.
